The Unseen Shadow That Follows You

Sometimes I wonder if our grudges are just shadows we carry around, not really ours to hold.
Last night, I dreamt of someone I can't stand, but in the dream, they looked almost sad and lost.
Waking up, it made me realize how much anger becomes a burden we refuse to let go of.
Why do these feelings cling so stubbornly?
Perhaps it's easier to dislike than confront what's really bothering us in real life.
Whatever it is, it’s exhausting carrying all that weight alone.
