Why Did My Cat Walk Out and Never Return?

I’ve been thinking a lot about how suddenly things can change at home.
Just yesterday, our old cat slipped out the door and didn’t come back.
It’s strange how such a small moment can feel so empty, like something that’s been part of us is suddenly gone.
Work has been hectic, but it’s these little everyday surprises that remind me to slow down and treasure what I have while it’s still here.
Hoping she’ll show up again soon—it just doesn’t feel the same without her around.
