The Last Day in the White Walls

After weeks confined to these sterile white walls, I finally saw the sunlight pouring in through the window.
My chest still aches a little, but my heart feels lighter than it has in forever.
The nurses cheered me on with bittersweet smiles, and I couldn't help but feel a strange mix of relief and anxiety.
