The door to my future feels like it's aflame, burning away just out of reach

Every time I think about taking a step forward, it sizzles and crackles, reminding me how fragile hope can be.
Despite the ash of yesterday’s failures, I keep scraping together strength for another attempt.
Sometimes I wonder if the fire is clearing the way or just consuming everything I’ve built.
Still, in this smoky haze, I cling to the faint glimmer that somewhere beyond these flames is a new beginning.
