Could This Dream Be a Sign That I’m Suppressing Anger?

Last night, I had this unsettling dream where I was choking someone or even causing harm.
It’s not like me at all to have such violent images in my sleep.
Sometimes, I wonder if these dreams mean I’m suppressing feelings I don’t want to face during the day, or if my subconscious is just playing tricks on me.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
It leaves me feeling odd and a bit scared about what it might say about what's really going on inside me.
